Though the Draft Education Policy, 2019 has focussed on some of the crucial changes necessary in our educational system, the recent pandemic has thrown open the already existing fault lines in our educational infrastructure. The inability of efficient teacher training and poor access to and outreach of our digital education mechanism have arisen as new points of concern in need of urgent reforms.
